and stealing. Stealing from LBP is acceptable and commendable. Imitiation being the sincerest form of flattery...I doubt Media Molecule minds.
Still the number of LBP influences (music, swinging mechanic, first level called Garden, etc.) is kind of hokey enough to say 'rip-off', but what would you expect from budding developers.
Looks cool though, and in some ways in reminds me of Toy Home in PSN as well.
is that Microsoft doesn't really address it outside the warranty. I haven't seen any figures to suggest that is is less probably now to get a RROD. Microsoft manages their image more than Sony, which I guess is why. The RROD is scandalous...but the only scandals you hear are the PS3.
I don't blame Microsoft for this, because they know they are the darlings of the gaming community regardless. As such, 'RROD' is no big deal, more urban myth than the 'very real' PS3 price. So m...
is privilege not a right that can be lost if you expect somebody to pay $100.
...but most games are probably worth on $40-$50. Some are worth less new. Few, if any would be worth around $80 to me.
So to talk about a $100 is unabashed greed on the part of Activision. I wouldn't pay for a game that is worth 1/3 of the cost of the system.
on both systems. Game analysts rate this one a buy. I'm picking up the CE on the 25th.
the funniest things are some of the comments that get disagrees. I think I picked up my 5th 'blocked' user from this one.
Woo-hoo. I need more haters.
Of course XBox is the favorite system. Most gamers have XBox, but moreso G4 favor the XBox...they even apologize for it at the end of the show. LOL...the shmucks!
"'In our opinion,' Wolf concludes, 'Microsoft’s venture into retail is conceptually equivalent to an oxymoron.'"
It is purely PR. It just has to be. I hope they open one by the Apple store in my home town.
"N4G And Destructoid Contributors Don't Mind using Raping Women In Games to get Hits."
Microsoft looking over some other company's shoulder again and copying what they do.
LOL, still no big deal. It will probably help LBP more than 360.
Eye Toy has colored my opinion of the matter a dull shade of 'meh'. And although I enjoy the improvements with the Wii, the game love isn't there for me, just like with the Eye Toy.
BTW Natal seems like it was just repeating the same mistakes as Sony on a bigger scale. Unless you can use Natal with a controller. But all the hype is on Natal for some dumb reason. Yet this article makes me think that Sony and Nintendo may be on the right track in making this work.

on MGS4 and my opinions/expectations of Sony and Microsoft.
and I got Street Fighter IV and SW: Force Unleashed for $20 a pop. I wanted to get Lair, maybe get it tomorrow. I'll get around to playing them at somepoint (probably by the time they are $10).
made me appreciate EA more, great game.
is good for the consumer, but if they don't want me to buy their game, I won't.
Rail shooters need a renaissance, and maybe a game like this, at the right time, can help the Eye and Natal be taken more seriously by core gamers.
are okay if you are a teen, which most of these likely are despite the preponderance of PS3s. Unless they are so expensive, people have to sell their furniture to buy one. j/k
The two adults, #11 and #12, have great rigs/set-ups, as well as the last two. I guess what is sad there is the devotion. But I can't fault that, nerds make make the world go round. The first one and #8 (my winner) are truly the saddest. "RArE SuX". LOL
most of those are pretty respectable. Also respectable if your wife keeps your hobby out of the living room or den.
I'm 36 and I play video games alongside people from 8 to 45. I've been buying comic books since I was 27 when I found out they are for older teens and adults anymore -- younger kids usually have their own line of comics.
not buying a game because it is expensive is one thing, but boycotting a company with great games because their -->current<-- head exec is a blowhard idiot is another.
Sir Howard was right,...just try to ignore him. Don't punish the devs and good people at Activision.
